25 Easy to Pack Travel Snacks

alpha-2In our family, there is meal time, and there is snack time, and it often feels more importance is given to the latter. We have found that nothing satisfies a child (or adult) on the verge of a meltdown more than a quality snack. Here are some of our favorite choices for snacks on the go. 12 Best Travel Apps to Take on Vacation

12 Travel AppsWhen I think back on my first trip abroad, I am amazed I even survived. There were no cell phones (we used calling cards), no e-mail (snail mail had to suffice), no fancy translators (I had to use phrasebooks and fancy hand signals to communicate), and I had to read paper maps! I do not love it. I tolerate it. We spend boat loads of money to visit multiple theme parks, pull muscles we didn’t know existed, and suffer through endless lines and crowds of people.

This year however, was different. We had new companions on our adventure, my parents, Gamma and Papi. It was great to have reinforcements. In fact, every family should have them. A vacation to Disney World can be a lot of work, but a lot of fun happens along the way.

Here are some things we have learned about how to stay safe on the road when you have a child with food allergies:
